Flash is an AI-powered mobile app that identifies movies and TV shows from short audio clips. You can also search a line you remember, a character's name, or a description of the scene.

Free. No spam, one email when it's your turn.

You'll get an email from Firebase, open it on your phone, sign in with this same email, and install. Android will ask once to allow installs from your browser. That's expected.

If Google Play Protect blocks the install, tap "More details" then "Install anyway." This appears because Flash is a private beta, not yet on the Play Store. That's expected.

How to use it

Hold it up

Press the lightning button and hold your phone near the speaker. Flash listens for a few seconds, then tells you what's playing.

Or just describe it

Switch to the Text tab and type a line you remember, a character's name, or what happens in the scene. Any of those can be enough.

Works while you scroll

Flash sits in your notification bar. Mid-reel and can't place a scene? Pull down, press Start, and keep watching. The result comes to you.

Already know the title?

The Info tab searches any title by name for its details, rating, and where to stream it.

Keep what you find

Tap the heart to save a title. Everything you identify stays in History.

Why a beta?

Flash is still learning. This is an early build, so you'll hit the occasional miss and some searches may come back empty.
