Flash is an AI powered mobile app that identifies movies and TV shows from short audio clips. You can also text search a dialogue or scene description.

You'll get an email from Firebase, open it on your phone, sign in with this same email, and install. Android will ask once to allow installs from your browser, that's expected.

If Google Play Protect blocks the install, tap "More details" then "Install anyway." This appears because Flash is a private beta not yet on the Play Store, it's expected.

How to use it

Tap to Identify

Press the lightning button and hold your phone near the speakers. Flash listens for a few seconds to identify the movie or show.

Or Type a Line

Switch to the Text tab and type any dialogue or scene description you remember. Flash will find what it's from.

Identify Anytime

Flash lives in your notification tray. Watching reels and spot a scene you can't place? Pull down the notification bar and press Start, Flash identifies it in the background, without leaving what you're watching.

Look Anything Up

The Info tab searches any title by name for its details, rating, and where to stream it.
